Prominent Gaming News
Hello everyone, and welcome to our slider feature that is brand new to the Prominent forums! I will be using this to feature upcoming news and announcements for the community, including updates or additions! Generally, if it's up here, it's important.
Suicide happens every day, and everyday a family’s life is changed.Suicide is a much bigger problem than society will admit; the causes, methods, and prevention need to be discussed more openly.I have been told several times that I ‘should have finished what was started years ago,’ and ‘the world would be better off without me anyway.’ And you know what, I almost did a few times. I don’t think I will ever understand how somebody could take something so serious and just throw it around like it means nothing. Now imagine being someone’s parent, and coming home from a tiring day of work. You open the bathroom door to wash up when you see your child laying on the floor, not breathing. You’re screaming, you’re crying, you’re losing your mind. The ambulance comes and hours later, you’re told your child is gone due to suicide. You sit there and blame yourself, you ask questions - and you will never forgive yourself. It isn't a joke so I ask please don't treat it like one please. And if you see people being bullied, picked on, or someone using inappropriate behavior that might affect people's mental health and stability tell someone, staff, PG, a friend or even your family. It's important to me and everyone else that people stay safe and for people to know that people care about you. So if you need help or someone else does call 1-800-273-8255
